Stereo recording of waves on a sandy beach, recorded from the shelter provided by some rocks, with a faint engine hum from a large ship in the far background. Tide was about one hour after turn and coming in. Recorded across an estuary. Average level about -18db. Recorded using h2 zoom with front microphones (90 degree). 6db of amplification in audacity.
Recorded at hammonasset state park in connecticut in a rocky section of the beach. Waves hitting boulders of various sizes causes sloshing and splashing sounds. Recorded with a tascam dr-05 using a fur windscreen. Some noise removal in audacity (to remove noise from a plane that briefly passed by).

A field recording from winchelsea beach from 17-06-2019. . Recorded late in the evening, around 8pm. There is mostly wave noises and general ambience with some seagull calls in the background. Recorded on zoom h4n pro with rycote wind baffle.
